Just to name few things, there are three different sound colouring type, filter routing is much more flexible, unison management is different (tied to main osc vs free), different phase type (flow), different, hive doesn't have oscillator inv, in hive you can link filter behaviour to other parameters, sylenth has filter drive, hive has vibrato for osc groups (in sylenth you have to do it manually with lfo, wasting one of the two lfo modulators just for that), in hive you can change fx order, and so on and on. If people were already using sylenth in their projects and already owned it, there wouldn't have been any reason to switch to another synth that, as you suggest, is a clone.īut that's far from true, if your knowledge goes beyond the appearance you would know that hive has much more to offer than just being a simple replica.
